Srijan Welfare Society is a registered society under the Societies Registration Act, 2006, dedicated to community development, eco-tourism promotion, and skill development initiatives.

Our Society

Registered at P.O Banikhet, Tehsil Dalhousie, District Chamba (H.P.), Srijan Welfare Society works tirelessly for the welfare and development of the local community.

The Society operates under a structured governance framework with a Governing Body comprising experienced professionals and community leaders committed to social service.

Our activities span across skill development, eco-tourism promotion, educational initiatives, and community welfare programs aimed at improving the quality of life for all members.

Governance

Rules & Regulations

The society is registered as "Srijan WELFARE SOCIETY" at P.O Banikhet, Tehsil Dalhousie, District Chamba (H.P.) under the Societies Registration Act, 2006.
Membership is open to any person who has attained the age of majority. Classes include Founder, Nominated, and Ordinary Members.
Governing Body comprises 7-12 members including President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer. Term is 5 years.
The affairs of the Society shall be governed by a Governing Body comprising not less than 7 and not more than 12 members including President, Vice President, General Secretary, Secretary, Treasurer and other office bearers. The term of office is 5 years.
Funds raised through admission fees, subscriptions, grants, and donations.
Certain matters require special approval including: alteration of Memorandum or Rules, appointment of Auditor, fund raising exceeding Rs. 25 lakhs, and contracts exceeding Rs. 25 lakhs.
The Society may be dissolved in accordance with Section 13 and 14 of the Societies Registration Act, 2006, after obtaining previous consent of the Appropriate Governmental Authority.
All intellectual property rights including patents, trademarks, copyrights, and designs shall at all times vest and be retained solely by the Society.

Membership Categories

The Society offers different categories of membership to accommodate various stakeholders and their contributions to our mission.

Founder Member

Subscribers to the Memorandum of Association and persons who took active part in establishing the Society before the first General Body meeting.

Nominated Member

Any person nominated by the Appropriate Governmental Authority. Total nominated members shall not exceed 50% of total strength.

Ordinary Member

Any person having requisite academic qualification associated with the sector or intending to work with the Society for achievement of its objectives.

Rights & Privileges of Members

Every member has the right to participate in General Body meetings, receive information about Society affairs, contest elections for any post, and enjoy all facilities provided by the Society.
